Do carers need a ticket and what evidence is needed?

As a carer you are allowed to skate for free when you accompany the person you care for. You must book a carer ticket.

Please bring along proof of your status. We accept:

Carer's Allowance Letter of Award
Carer's Card / Carer's Discount Card
The Access Card - Nimbus Disability
The award letter or allowance book showing entitlement to Disability Living Allowance for children under 16 or DLA/Personal Independent Payments (PIP) for those aged 16-64.

The carer ticket is for a single person.
